PREVIEW: Nonhlanhla Buthelezi inspires her community
She had the choice of sitting back and being a victim, but she did not; she pursued life despite her challenges and proved herself equal, if not better, than her peers.

We’ve all had that ‘I don’t want to go to work today’ feeling.

Yet there’s a young woman residing in Madadeni Section Two who, despite not having arms from the elbow down and no legs, makes it her duty to leave bed every morning and despite the challenges of her life, determinedly pursues her studies at Majuba TVET College.
ArcelorMittal’s Joe Nowbath described this woman as ‘amazing’.
Nonhlanhla Buthelezi, a 28-year-old student, was left speechless after ArcelorMittal and the Majuba Rotary Club delivered a new electric wheelchair to her doorstep on Friday (September 21), as part of the ongoing project to restore mobility and dignity to deserving residents.
