8 vehicles involved in pile-up, causing delays in traffic in Ladysmith

Injuries have been reported in a multi-vehicle pile-up in Short Street earlier today (November 21).

Two vehicles were initially involved in a rear-end collision, coming to a stop in the street.

Six other vehicles then smashed into each other behind the initial crash.

Emergency personnel, Public Safety and police responded.

Traffic flow in the area was delayed until the scene was cleared.

The injured were treated at the scene and then taken to hospital.
