Speaker Lucky Khumalo’s message after Sunday’s storm

Endumeni Municipality is lending a helping hand to those affected by Sunday's storm.

Many residents were affected by the storm that hit the town on Sunday – most of them are still trying to pick up the pieces. Many lost their roofs, windows were shattered and many homes suffered water damage when the roofs were blown off.

Speaker, Lucky Khumalo, commented: ” As Endumeni municipality, we send our condolences to all the families who were affected by the storm. The district as a whole is doing its utmost best to assist the affected areas. We are currently doing reports on how many families were affected and what they lost – groceries, personal belongings etc. We will thereafter contact the relevant departments to assist where they can”.
