Man to apply for bail following Christmas Day murder
The victim was stabbed with a thin instrument
A Nquthu man will appear in the Glencoe Magistrate’s Court on Friday for a bail application following the murder on Christmas morning of Cedric Muller, commonly known as Dida.
Mr Muller (46) was stabbed at his Gandhi Street home at around 1am by a man who had allegedly come to the house to demand a “Christmas treat’. The knifeman fled the scene and Mr Muller was declared dead upon his arrival at Dundee Hospital. The post mortem revealed he had been stabbed in the heart with a thin, sharp instrument.
Police later arrested and charged Victor Molise (30) who appeared in Court on December 28. He will appear again on January 4 to apply for bail.
