Warning: Severe thunderstorms expected in parts of KZN, including uThukela District
The thunderstorms are expected between 2pm and 8pm
The South African Weather Service says that severe thunderstorms are predicted in many areas of KwaZulu-Natal today (January 8).
The storms are expected between 2pm and 8pm.

The areas that are likely to be affected are Amajuba, Umzinyathi, Umgungundlovu, Harry Gwala and uThukela municipalities.
Motorists are urged to be vigilant, drive with their headlights on and keep a safe following distance during inclement weather conditions.
