Tractor driver seriously injured near Mooi River
Netcare 911 paramedics were called to the scene where a tractor rolled down an embankment and through a fence

After sustaining serious injuries, a tractor driver had to be airlifted from the R103 close to Mooi River to be treated at a medical facility.

On the morning on December 21, Netcare 911 paramedics were called to the scene where a tractor rolled down an embankment and through a fence just off the R013.
“The patient was treated on scene by an advanced life support paramedic and due to the nature of his injuries the Nsele Ambulance Services activated the Netcare 5 specialised helicopter ambulance that airlifted the patient to hospital for further treatment. All necessary authorities were on scene,” commented Netcare 911 Media Liaison Officer Shawn Herbst.
