Stage 3 load-shedding to affect Ladysmith today

Load-shedding will hit Ladysmith yet again today (February 13).

Eskom Power System Emergency declared that Stage 3 load-shedding (8am to 11pm) and load curtailment Stage 3 (8am to 11pm) will be in place to stabilise the system.

The municipality will implement load-shedding as per the schedule: Group 2 from 9am to 12pm; Group 3 from 12pm to 3pm; and Group 1 from 3pm to 6pm.

People are urged to use electricity sparingly and are reminded to treat robots that are down as four-way stops.
