Newcastle woman stabbed to death by scorned ex-lover
The ex-girlfriend was 18 years old.
A 25-year-old male stabbed his ex-girlfriend to death after they had broken up on February 8.
“The break up did not sit well with the jilted lover and he went to the victims house in Kwamathukuza the next day where he stabbed her on the back, cheek and chest leaving her lifeless body in a pool of blood,” said a statement from Newcastle SAPS.
The ex-girlfriend was 18 years old.
The suspect turned himself in to the police and was summarily placed under arrest. A case of murder has been opened at the Newcastle police station.
