Stolen livestock found in Ngome bushveld awaiting transportation

19 stolen goats as well as cattle and cattle carcasses were recovered,

A JOINT operation by the Mondlo, Vryheid, Nongoma, Ngome, Ulundi and Zululand Cluster police officers saw stock thieves being brought to book last month.

Two men who were caught with eight cattle (one dead) were arrested and two more were caught the next day in connection with cows that had been stolen in the Ngome area.

The cows are said to have been found hidden in a bushveld in the KwaNkungu part of Ngome.

In a separate operation that was conducted between Tuesday and Wednesday  the previous week, 19 stolen goats were recovered, cattle carcasses were recovered, and a Toyota Hilux double cab as well as an Opel Astra sedan, were seized for transportation of stolen stock.
