The client from Bergville had a big request. To celebrate her birthday, the client desired a giant teddy bear.

“It must be black and as big as you can go,” were the instructions Ms David was given. “I was surprised and called and sent her messages several times to make sure that she wanted this huge bear and she was determined to have it,” explained Ms David.

Once confirmed, the team began cutting and piecing together the 3.2 meter high, 40 kilogram teddy bear.

Within a day, the pattern was cut, stuffing inserted and the teddy was stitched. On Thursday the bear was ready to be sent off to the excited client. For Ms David this was a novelty order.

“We have done a 2.5 meter gorilla before but this is the biggest teddy bear we have ever made in the 13 years we have been operating,” she added.
