Shops are being damaged and soiled, reportedly every weekend. A resident, who asked to remain anonymous due to fears of being targeted, said that business owners are regularly met with shock and anger when they open shop in the morning.

Debris left behind after a weekend.

“The people use the pavement in front of all these shops as a public toilet facility. Shop owners have to clean up after other people. Urine seeps into the shop through the closed doors,” said the concerned business owner.

He hopes that an appeal through the media may prompt some action from the authorities and maybe some decency from the culprits.
