Local business owners recently attended the Alfred Duma Local Municipality Business Retention & Expansion Programme held at Tuskers B&B.
This seminar was held to educate business owners on the necessity of keeping clean records, and also inform them about development plans that are in place so they have the opportunity to apply for investment opportunities.
Donny Pathan, the general manager of Trade & Investment in KZN, stressed how important it is for businesses to build a relationship with their local municipalities.
The seminar – which was also attended by representatives from different sectors such as Ithala Bank, Mayor Vincent Madlala and the Ladysmith Chamber of Commerce & Industry – was very educational and informative.
It was a great opportunity for local traders to network and exchange ideas with contacts.
