Weather Warning: Heavy rain predicted in Ladysmith KZN today

MEC Kaunda urges road-users to exercise extreme caution, as the entire province is experiencing heavy rains at the moment

Heavy rain and thunderstorms are predicted in Ladysmith this evening (April 23), according to the South African Weather Service. Be prepared for a cold and wet day.

KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Transport, Community Safety & Liaison Mr Mxolisi Kaunda has urged road-users to exercise extreme caution, as the entire province is experiencing heavy rains at the moment.

Kaunda also warns motorists and pedestrians not to try and cross flooding rivers, but to use alternative routes.

Cloudy and misty conditions are being experienced at Van Reenen on the N3, so if you are travelling in this area, please be cautious and drive safely.
