Ferrax Post Office gets a clean up
She also says SAPS is conducting regular patrols for vagrants.

Only days after making headlines, the area around the Ferrax Post Office has been cleaned up.
Nobuhle Njapha, of the South African Post Office (SAPO) Communication Division, sent emails with photographs attached to highlight the work done by SAPO since complaints were forwarded by the Newcastle Advertiser.
She says the post office area is cleaned twice a week.
“Bottle pieces were removed; notices have been placed all over to [discourage] littering by the box renters.”
Njapha adds the lights on the exterior and interior of the Ferrax Post Office were repaired, a welcome move to allay safety fears by residents.
She also says SAPS is conducting regular patrols for vagrants.
These measures will go a long way to appeasing post box owners, who previously felt the post office was more closely resembling a rubbish dump.
