Youth express themselves through art for Freedom Day

"It shows that we still honour the freedom our forefathers fought so hard for"

Art Brew coffee shop manager Mr Thulani “Jay” Ntini  hosted an event called ‘Poets and Portraits’ at his shop in Convent Road over the Freedom Day weekend.

The youth were ecstatic at the opportunity to showcase their talents in the form of poetry recitals and displaying portraits they had painted.

“The main objective of this event was to offer a platform for the youth to express themselves through art and spend the day together doing something good. It shows that we still honour the freedom our forefathers fought so hard for. I am very pleased with the turnout,” said Mr Ntini.
