Car crashes into back of truck at Roosboom

A Suzuki Alto crashed into the back of a truck on Tuesday night (April 30) on the R103 at Roosboom.

One person was injured and treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

Emergency personnel, Public Safety, police and towing services responded to the scene.

A crowd of onlookers gathered around to see what was going on.

One lane was open to traffic until the scene was cleared.

The vehicle had to be towed away.
