A slow voting day unfolds in small town

While some parts of the country are gripped with election fever, things remained relatively unchanged in the small town of Dannhauser.

There was no early morning rush and no long queues formed throughout the day.

One voter remarked that it was so nice to vote in Dannhauser because there was no waiting time.

In Mafusini there was more of a party like atmosphere as residents came out to make their mark.

And while some took the day seriously, others were more concerned whether Sundowns or Pirates would win the ABSA Premiership.
