Make your blood donation tomorrow at the Estcourt Town Library
Get ready to roll up your sleeves in aid of a worthy cause
The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) calls on all new and regular blood donors to share a pint of blood at their monthly blood donor clinic on May 9.
Your donation can help SANBS ensure a safe and sufficient blood supply in the healthcare system. Take a friend along and together you would have saved nine lives in need of blood.
Remember the SANBS provides an essential life-saving service to patients, hospitals and the medical profession in South Africa through collecting, processing and issuing of blood via your generous bleed.
Be a hero, it’s in your blood.
NOTE:
The venue of the blood clinic has changed JUST for this Thursday due to the counting of votes following the National and Provincial Elections.
The SANBS will host the May Blood Donor Clinic at the Estcourt Town Library – Projection Room.
Vika saved 15 lives
The simplest reason to donate blood is to help save the lives of patients in need of blood transfusions.
Vika Nelson Dlamini understands this and makes and effort to attend the monthly blood donor clinics.
Just knowing that his one unit of blood can save up to three lives is a rewarding enough feeling.
To date Mr Dlamini saved 15 lives, as he donated his fifth pint in April.
