2. Woman dies after jumping from moving truck – Vuyisile Mwandla was killed when she jumped from a moving truck into oncoming traffic on the N3 near Frere.

5. Fun in the sun – The beautiful weather beckoned many locals to the shores of Wagendrift Dam for boating and fishing.
