Woman injured in fall while hiking in the Drakensberg
The woman was airlifted by a private helicopter to Winterton Country Club
A woman was injured while hiking in the Drakensberg on Saturday (May 18). ER24 were alerted by a medic from a nearby nature reserve.
On arrival, the paramedics found that the woman had fallen some distance and had sustained several injuries.

Once stabilised, the patient was airlifted by a private helicopter to awaiting medical personnel at Winterton Country Club. She was then rushed to the nearest hospital.
