4 injured in Allen Street smash
The section of Oak Street, between the Allen Street intersection and the Newcastle Mall traffic circle, is partially closed to traffic.
Four people were injured in a collision, at the intersection of Oak Street and Allen Street, a short while ago.
As a result of the collision, one of the vehicles wiped out a traffic light. Debris is currently strewn across the road surface.
The occupants of one vehicle sustained moderate injuries, while occupants of the second vehicle sustained minor injuries. They will be taken to Madadeni Provincial Hospital and Mediclinic Newcastle respectively.
