Golfers get flexible at fun charity fundraiser

The winning female pair was Courtney Smith and Shay Hunter, and Candice Oldfield received the ‘wild card’ prize of a data voucher from Fliber.

Golfers turned up in numbers, to support the Fliber Charity Fundraiser on Saturday.

This competition, held at the Newcastle Golf Club, also served to raise funds for two budding hockey players from Ferrum High School. Golfers are thanked for their support of the event.

“A special thank you to every who made our fundraising golf day such a major success, and helping two very talented hockey stars get one step closer to their dreams,” read a post on Fliber’s Facebook page.

“Newcastle, we are all family. Thank you.”

The winning female pair was Courtney Smith and Shay Hunter, and Candice Oldfield received the ‘wild card’ prize of a data voucher from Fliber.

Results were not available at the time of going to print this week.
