Police are attempting to piece together clues after a human skull and bones were discovered.

A shepherd working at Heavy Tree Farm on the R103 made the disturbing find on the farm on May 2.

When police arrived at the scene, they also found clothes lying next to the remains. Police spokesperson Captain Bongani Nyathi said that officers are now tasked with finding relatives who are seeking missing family members.

“Anyone who can assist is requested to contact the investigating officer on 036-342-9517 or Crime Stop on 08600-10111,” added Capt Nyathi.
