A bakkie and truck collided on the R622 in Mooi River.

Shortly before 8pm last night (July 13) the R622 in Mooi River was the scene of a crash.

A light delivery vehicle and a truck were involved in the collision.

One person was critically injured after the collision.

Paramedics attended to one person that was critically injured and six others that had sustained minor injuries.

“Due to the nature of the critically injured patient’s condition, a Netcare 911 specialised helicopter ambulance was called to the scene to airlift the patient to hospital for specialised care,” commented Netcare Limited Media Liaison Officer Shawn Herbst.
