Breaking in and stealing is a crime, but when a church is the target, there is something deeply morally reprehensible about the act. This is what residents are saying after a church was recently broken into in Ladysmith.
“This shows total disregard for what others believe and hold sacred.
Actually, it’s like stealing from God, no matter what religion you belong to. It’s shameful and heartless!” fumed one church-goer who did not want to be named.

Criminals callously broke in and stole musical instruments. The church was locked at the time.
No arrests have been made and Ladysmith detectives are investigating a case of burglary.
