Suspects to appear in court for gruesome murder

An angry mob went to the home of the 22-year-old suspect and burnt down the house

The two accused in the murder case regarding a man who was found with his throat slit in the Ekuvukeni area will appear again in court on August 15.

It is believed that the victim was an educator in Ladysmith.

The community of Ekuvukeni was outraged after the murder and decided to take matters into their own hands. An angry mob went to the home of the 22-year-old suspect and burnt down the house.

10 vehicles were parked in the yard. These vehicles belonged to clients of the suspect’s father, who was fixing them, as he is a mechanic by trade. The cars were also destroyed in the fire.
