Cocaine and heroin seized in Forderville – two arrested

Police clamp down on drug dealing activities

The police have scored a success in the fight against drug dealing.

Two people were arrested in Forderville last night, following an intelligence-driven operation to clamp down on drug dealing activities in the suburb.

Joining forces, the Public Order Policing Unit and uThukela Cluster searched a home last night and made a hit.

“A 23-year-old man was found in possession of heroin. A second suspect was arrested by police after the 29-year-old was found in possession of seven packets of cocaine,” explained police spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele.

Both men were detained at the Estcourt Police Station and charged with possession of drugs.
