Fedauto cordoned off amid bomb threat

Staff received a call from a 'customer' who informed them there was a bomb planted at the premises.

Police have cordoned off the area around Fedauto, due to a bomb scare.

According to sources, a caller contacted the dealership to have his car brought in for a service, then burst out laughing and told staff there was a bomb on the premises.

The dealership has since been closed and area cordoned off, while SAPS waits for sniffer dogs to search for a possible explosive device.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
