Newcastle SAPS celebrates Heritage Day with an array of foods

Each department from the Supply Chain Management to the Human Resource Management and Admininistration departments dressed up in traditional attire to celebrate the day.

The Newcastle SAPS celebrated Heritage Day the traditional way on September 20 at the Newcastle Police Station.

Each department from the Supply Chain Management to the Human Resource Management and Administration departments dressed up in traditional attire to celebrate the day.

Each department dressed and cooked a meal according to the culture chosen. Members of one department donned Swati outfits and cooked Indian cuisine while the other members dressed up in Indian attire and cooked a ‘lekker traditional potjie’.
