Gogo Beauty Sithole: “We did not even watch SONA because there was blackout here and we did not have electricity. I was interested in hearing what lies he was going to tell us. Service delivery here in eMondlo is terrible; we go for days without water, blackouts every other day and our roads are the worst I have ever seen. So until something happens here in eMondlo which will address these three major issues, I will never stop calling our Government a liar again.”
Cedric Buthelezi: “I did not get anything new out of SONA. The only thing I know about the President is that he is wealthy while we people on the ground are still poor. As the youth, we are faced with unemployment but not much is being done to minimise the level of unemployment.”
