Daytime water restrictions lifted for Endumeni
Good news for residents as water restrictions are finally to be lifted.
There’s some good news for residents, who have long been left frustrated by water restrictions.
Nomonde Nzwakhe of the Umzinyathi District Municipality has confirmed that the municipality, together with Uthukela Water, has resolved to remove water restrictions for during the day. Water will now be restricted during night-time only.
Residents have been advised to use water sparingly however, to avoid shortfall and assist in saving more water for the future.
Residents have also questioned of late why restrictions were still necessary, given the increased levels of the Buffalo River.
