Woman dies after being knocked down on R69 road

Paramedics attempted to resuscitate her, but she sadly passed away

A pedestrian was knocked down on the R69 at the Kwafuduka turn-off on Tuesday afternoon. When KwaZulu-Natal Private Ambulance Services arrived at the scene, they found a female who had sustained severe injuries. The emergency team worked as quickly as possible to stabilise her condition, but she unfortunately deteriorated rapidly. Paramedics attempted to resuscitate her, but she sadly passed away. Authorities are investigating the incident. Later the same week, another pedestrian was hit in Stretch Crescent, but only sustained minor injuries. The accident victim was taken to hospital for further medical attention.
