"I know how it feels to have nothing, because I grew up under difficult circumstances"
Mthokozisi Magubane is a young, optimistic businessman from Umhlumayo who has taken the initiative to give back to the community that raised him.
On May 9, Mthokozisi donated food parcels to 100 families in Umhlumayo.
In an interview with the Ladysmith Gazette, he said, “I know how it feels to have nothing, because I also grew up under difficult circumstances. So I know the importance of helping people when they are in need.”
The parcels consisted of 10kg maize meal, 10kg flour, 2lt cooking oil, 4kg dry beans, six cans of Lucky Star fish, 500g salt, 2.5kg sugar and 500g soya mince.
