This area is a hot-spot and as soon as the rubbish is cleared out, the dumping starts all over again.

Last week, a team from Inkosi Langalibalele Local Municipality’s waste team were back in Forderville. To their dismay, they found that several rubbish bags had been strewn in the usual spot.

Upon investigation, the team was able to unearth documents and medication that bore names.

The names were forwarded to the finance department for identification, and the guilty person will be asked to clean up the illegal dumping. Failing to do so will result in the municipality cleaning up and billing the individual.
