1 injured as bakkie crashes into boundary wall in Reservoir Road

The vehicle had to be towed away from the scene

A Toyota Hilux bakkie crashed last night (Monday, June 1) in Reservoir Road.

It is believed that the driver lost control of the vehicle and veered off the roadway, crashing into the boundary wall of a house in the street.

NN Alarms, emergency personnel, Public Safety and a towing service responded to the scene.

The driver of the bakkie sustained slight injuries and was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for further medical attention.

The bakkie had to be towed away.

Many motorists driving in the area stopped to see what was going on.
