Accidents claim two lives on one day

Unfortunately, one of the patients later passed away. One person is in a critical condition. 

KwaZulu-Natal Private Ambulance Services responded to a serious crash on the Bloodriver Ncome road yesterday afternoon (June 1). Two cars were involved in a head-on collision. Upon arrival at the scene, paramedics found five people with various injuries, ranging from moderate to critical. All the patients were stabilised on scene before being transported to various hospitals in Vryheid. Unfortunately, one of the patients later passed away. One person is in a critical condition.
Later the same evening, paramedics were called out to an accident on the R69, where a pedestrian had been hit by a car. Upon arrival, they found a man in his late 40s lying in the road. When paramedics assessed the victim, they found he had passed away at the scene.
