One person was tragically killed today on the R34 near the Tayside turn off on the Dundee/Vryheid road.
Paramedics from the Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service responded to reports of a collision on the R34. When they arrived on scene they found that a vehicle had collided with a truck.
Paramedics found that one of the passengers sustained serious injuries while five other passengers sustained minor injuries.
The patients were treated on scene and then taken to hospital. Tragically, one of the patients died en route.
The cause of the collision is not yet known.
