Mr Akoonjee cleans up in Spar competition

There were plenty of reasons for Ismail Akoonjee to smile under his face mask when he walked away with a new washing machine courtesy of Charlie’s Superspar and Unilever.

Shoppers had to buy two 3kg Sunlight Washing Powder products to be entered into the competition.

For Mr Akoonjee, it was an ecstatic moment, as he says it was also the first time he’s won anything.
