Minibus crash claims a life

The injured have been admitted to nearby hospitals

A woman died and 13 other passengers injured when a mini bus taxi crashed on the R33 in the Tugela Ferry area this morning.

Robert McKenzie of the EMRS said the exact circumstances surrounding the crash still have to be determined and SAPS are investigating.

The victim was said to be around 40 years old. The injured were treated on the scene by paramedics and taken to surrounding hospitals for further treatment.
