Giving mothers an essential need

Thus far the Gift of the Givers Estcourt branch has distributed more than 350 bales of disposable diapers to mothers at clinics from Weenen to Ntabamhlophe

The past weeks have been a whirlwind of giving for the local wing of the Gift of the Givers Foundation.

From food parcels to disposable diapers, the team has been reaching far and wide to bring some relief to residents.
To round off the diaper distribution, community liaison Jaaved Khan and his team visited the Connor Street Clinic last Monday morning.

While the team had prepared for a large number of mothers, they distributed just 15 bales of disposable diapers to the mother that were present.

Some of the mothers that received disposable diapers at Zwelisha Clinic.

Their next stop was at the Zwelisha Clinic. Here 50 bales of diapers were distributed, with each mother receiving one bale. Each bale has 5 packs with 20 diapers per pack and others have six packs of 27 diapers.

Another appreciative beneficiary.

This was an appreciative cost-saving donation for the mothers.

All staff and patients that were present also received instant porridge, which was gladly consumed immediately.

The clinic patients and staff receive instant porridge to start their day.
