Ladysmith KZN: Electricity restored to all affected areas

An overhead power line appears to have been hit by lightning

Many areas in Ladysmith suffered power outages last night (October 28) and were without electricity for most of today. Power has now been restored to all the affected areas.

Municipal electricians worked tirelessly throughout the day to get people’s electricity back up and running.

The overhead line running across the Klip River near Klipbank Bowling Club appears to have been hit by lightning during last night’s storm, but has now been fixed.
