The Hare Krishna Temple hosted their first-ever motorcade parade today (October 31), which is the first day of Kartik Mass on the Hindu lunar calendar.

Hare Krishna devotees took part in the motorcade, which wound its way through the streets of Ladysmith.

In the reformed Indian national civil calendar, Kartika is the eighth month of the year. It corresponds to the months of October / November in the Gregorian calendar.
