Ladysmith KZN: Water shortage blamed on Eskom

Water has started flowing again...

The power is back on at the Ezakheni Water Treatment Plant, but there are a few pumps that have difficulty starting up, say uThukela.

Electricians are attending to the problems right now.

The plant has, however, started up and water is being treated.

Water has started flowing and many areas once again have running taps.

uThukela has blamed the lack of water this weekend on a power outage at the Ezakheni Water Treatment Plant, which started at 3am this morning (Sunday, November 15).
