NEWCASTLE KZN: Lincoln Heights Secondary School confirms positive Covid-19 case
The pupil has not been at school for most of the week.
Principal of Lincoln Heights Secondary School, Mr R Naicker has confirmed that a Grade 12 learner tested positive for Covid-19.
“The learner in question has not been at school much this week, but his classmates and closest peers have been informed about his positive test,” confirmed Naicker.
The school has since advised learners who should feel ill or experience any symptoms, to have themselves tested immediately.
“We want to assure parents and the community that we have no need to close the school, as we follow strict and proper Covid protocols. We disinfect every class after each session and before children enter the classroom. Therefore, we will not be closing the school,” said Naicker.
