DUNDEE KZN: Sentraal claim first home victory

On Saturday, Sentraal play the Eagles again but this time it is an away game at the Eagles home nest at Durnacol.

Sentraal hosted their first home game of the long-delayed season on Saturday and came away with a 38-12 victory against Flying Eagles of Dannhauser.

The game was an exciting affair that burst into life with two yellow cards being dished out to each side and with one of the Eagles forced to take an early shower thanks to a second yellow card infringement. Despite the scoreline, the game was a tightly contested affair which the home crowd feasted on after being starved for so long of local rugby.

For Sentraal, Xander Kriel scored three tries, Dunell Griffiths one try while Julian Kriel dotted once behind the try line. Willem Husselman succeeded with three conversions and Ruan Nel with one.

front row player of the match was Akone Mbhele and backline player, Xander Kriel. Delmarie Kriel of Sentraal thanked Tanja Kitching of Battlefields Country Lodge for their contribution of pap and sauce and Anet Brockman for the ice.
