On Saturday evening (October 23), an Intelligence-driven operation saw police and Ladysmith K9 Unit officers swooping on a premises in the Steadville area.

There, a 29-year-old man was arrested for being in possession of 20 heroin capsules and three flat-screen television sets by Ladysmith K9 Unit officers. The man was unable to account for the TVs.

The suspect faces charges of dealing in drugs and being in possession of suspected stolen property.

He appeared in the Ladysmith Magistrate’s Court today (October 25).
