ESTCOURT KZN: Fish for charity and health

A cash prize of R2000 will be awarded to the boat and shore angler who lands the heaviest fish

A fishing competition with a difference will be held this Sunday (November 7) at Wagendrift Dam.

Estcourt Hospice and the Cancer Association of South Africa (CanSA) will benefit from the funds raised.

A cash prize of R2000 will be awarded to the boat and shore angler who lands the heaviest fish.

Many other cash and lucky draw prizes are up for grabs. Fishing hours are 06:00 until 15:00. This is a carp challenge and no other fish will qualify for prizes.

All fish will be weighed, recorded and released. Anglers are liable for the entrance fee to the dam.

A blood camp / drive will also be held, and prostate testing will be conducted for men over 40 years of age.
