Ingula River now overflowing

Water is flowing over low-lying bridges in the Watersmeet area

In some places where there are low-lying bridges, such as Watersmeet Ward 18, cars could not cross. This was also the case at the iHlathi Bridge, and motorists were forced to seek alternative routes.

For their own safety, people are urged not to cross bridges and roads that are flooded.
