LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Local businessmen did indeed help during the water crisis

I, Mr Dawood Desai, would like to correct this information, as there were water distributions done by myself from Transnat Coachlines and a few other members of the community.

Editor –
It is with great disappointment that incorrect information was shared that Dannhauser businessmen did not play a role in the distribution of water during the water crisis.
I, Mr Dawood Desai, would like to correct this information, as there were water distributions done by myself from Transnat Coachlines and a few other members of the community. Water was distributed to the community until late on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday nights.
In closing, I would like to also share that borehole water is available at four different places, namely: Caltex Garage, Dannhauser Mosque, Dannhauser Madressa and behind OK Supermarket.
These borehole water points were available to the public, having been shared over community chats and social media platforms.
Great thanks and appreciation to the Dundee community, as well as the Al-Imdaad Foundation and all those who came forward to play a role in assisting our community at this time.
To all our fellow businessmen, let’s join hands and stand together in times of need, like this one.
Dawood Desia
