Here’s how to report poor police service

Residents with grievances may not be aware of the channels available to report bad service

It’s quite possible that you have heard more than one story relating to poor service delivery at police stations.

During the past two weeks, the Estcourt News has published articles from two residents who were robbed in the CBD. In both instances, they said they did not report the crime to the police because they felt that nothing would be done.

Residents also often complain about how long it takes for police officers to arrive at a scene, as well as the service they receive at police stations.

Residents with grievances may also not be aware of the channels available to report bad service.

Who to call?

Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan recently provided contact numbers for locals to report alleged poor service by police officials.
